What this site does not do
This is a static website. To be specific, and you can verify all of it with your browser's developer tools:
- It sets no cookies.
- It runs no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording.
- It stores nothing in your browser, with one exception: if you change the accessibility settings, those choices are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device so they apply on every page. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear them with "Reset to default".
- It does not track you across other websites, and it does not build a profile of you.
- It has no advertising on it and does not feed any ad network.
There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What we do receive
Only what you send us. There are three forms on this site:

Those go to the front desk inbox, [email protected], and we use them to reply to you. We do not sell them, rent them, or share them with anybody for their own marketing. Ever.
If you sign up for the newsletter you can get off it by replying to any newsletter, or by telling the desk — no form to fill in, no login.
Companies this site touches
Two, and only these two:

We also link to other places — ABC Fitness (the online join flow), Facebook and Instagram (our pages), Apple App Store and Google Play (the members app), Google Maps (directions). Those are ordinary links. Nothing goes to them unless you click, and once you are there you are under their rules, not ours.
Your membership is separate from this website
If you join, your membership record lives in our club software, not on this website, and the front desk handles it. This page covers the website. For anything about your membership record — what is held, correcting it, or closing your account — call 530-528-8656 or email [email protected].
How long we keep enquiry emails is something we are still pinning down internally, and we would rather say that than invent a number. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Children
This website is aimed at adults deciding about a membership. We do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Our childcare room is arranged in person at the desk, on paper — not through this site.
Asking us anything
Email [email protected] or call 530-528-8656 and ask for the front desk. You can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. You do not need to give a reason and we will not make it difficult.
California residents have specific rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it — that page explains what that means and how to hold us to it.
