Deb
Debra is a Red Bluff native and graduated from RBUHS Student Body President in 1975. She graduated from CSU Hayward in 1980 with a Bachelor in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Debra furthered her education at UC San Francisco completing her second Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, graduating in 1982. Debra returned to Red Bluff immediately after graduation and began her career at St Elizabeth Community Hospital. After a short period of time, she joined the out patient physical therapy team now known as Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. Debra continued her devotion to the study of hand therapy and successfully completed the process for Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) in 1996. Debra’s passion and expertise is in treatment of traumatic hand injuries but her history indicates she has enjoyed many facets of physical therapy, including developing and running the cardiac rehabilitation for St. Elizabeth’s Community Hospital, assisting in development of the pulmonary rehabilitation program for Chico Community Hospital, providing contract services for local skilled nursing facilities, and acute care services for St. Elizabeth’s Community Hospital for the past 27 years. Debra completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in April 2005, graduating from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Debra chooses to work in Red Bluff as a member of the excellent medical community providing care to the same community of doctors, educators and classmates that have contributed to her professional fulfillment.
Personally Debra enjoys spending time with her husband Sgt. Jeff Ross of the California Highway Patrol and their three wonderful children, Brianna, Christy and Zack.
